Whether you are interested in adding a seaplane rating to your Private or Commercial pilot's certificate, getting "checked out" in one of our rental floatplanes, or just want to hone your proficiency with one of our experienced Certified Flight Instructors - give us a call and we will work out a "float plan" that fits your needs!

Not only is floatplane flying fun and practical in the "land o' a million lakes," it is one of the least expensive add-on ratings a pilot can acquire There is no FAA written exam required, nor is there a minimum training hours prerequisite to take the practical test. On the average, pilots are ready for their check ride after 6-8 hours of instruction, and the flight portion of the check ride takes about 2 hours to complete.
